Weekend Cookbook Challenge - Year Two in review.

Wow, I really can't believe it. Here we are after 24 WCC's! That is two full years. Last year I did a recap of year one. Let's look back on Challenges 13 to 24!

middle eastern lamb pizzas from food lover's journey
Challenge 13 rang in the New Year and we cooked from our newest cookbook.

Inca Quinoa Salad from Food Blogga
Tami from Running with Tweezers hosted WCC 14 and her theme was Salad.

Saffron-hearted Truffle Eggs in White Chocolate from Bounteous bites
Marta from An Italian in the US was our hostess for Weekend Cookbook Challenge 15. Her chosen theme was Easter/Spring Food.

yak dumplings from Toast Point
I took the reins back for #16 and we all tried Something New.

Lemon Cornmeal cake from Lemon Almond
Ani from Foodie Chickie hosted WCC 17. I found her Cornmeal challenge to be just that - a challenge!

Rhubarb Strawberry Fool from ME!
Red and White was the theme I chose for Challenge 18.

Broiled Figs from Winter Skies, Kitchen Aglow
#19's host - Paige from Chef-Girl picked a fun theme that month. Dinner and a DVD!

Maple Almond Granola from La Mia Cucina
WCC 20 had an ever so tasty theme - Show and Tell. So many delicious dishes!

Quick and Easy Pumpkin Pie Bars from Batter-Splattered
21 was a hoot too! Michele from Je Mange La Ville chose a scary theme - Halloween!

Butter Chicken Soup from I think I have a recipe for that...
Cady from $40 a Week stayed close to home with her choice of theme - $40 a Week for Weekend Cookbook Challenge 22.

Chocolate Fruit Cake from Mel's Diner
My friend Mike from Mel's Diner carried the torch for December '07 with Celebration Dishes.

Veggie Strata from Oh Mindy!
Hosting duties came back to me for number 24 and the theme chosen was Veggin Out.

Thanks to all of you who took part in any of the 24 WCC challenges. And a very very special Thank You to Michelle from Je Mange La Ville. Michelle is WCC`s most faithful contributor, having participated in 19 of the 24 challenges!
She`s Number One!

Sara ~ Wow, another year has whipped by. I'm sorry for not participating as much as I did in the first year. I will try harder for year three. This is still my favourite of the regular food blog events.
